For generations, women have faced systemic barriers in the workplace—limited opportunities, unequal pay, and underrepresentation in leadership. While progress has been made, true gender equality is still out of reach. Women still face unconscious biases, slower career advancements, and a lack of representation in key decision-making roles. The slow pace of inclusion, particularly in male-dominated fields like technology, security, and compliance, keeps women from reaching their full potential.
This year, the theme for International Women’s Day 2025, “Accelerate Action”, reminds us that while change is happening, it is not happening fast enough. It is a call to move beyond conversations and take decisive steps to close the gap. In the scheme of technology—an industry traditionally dominated by men—creating spaces where women are empowered, recognized, and given equal opportunities to thrive becomes even more crucial.
For us as a company, we are not just acknowledging the need for change; we are actively driving it.
Taking Decisive Action: Enabling Women to Succeed
At Prembly, we believe that real change comes from intentionality. That’s why ensuring that the women within our team have the same level of opportunities, support, and professional growth as their male peers remains a priority for us. Biases in hiring, particularly in tech roles, are actively removed to ensure that qualified women receive the opportunities they deserve without prejudice. Currently, women make up 48% of our team, thriving and advancing in their careers.
We recognize the slow progress in closing the gender gap in security and compliance, and instead of waiting for things to improve, we are accelerating the action ourselves. Mentorship, continuous learning, and leadership training are key investments at Prembly to equip women with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in this industry.
We believe that talent knows no gender. The role of women in security and compliance cannot be overstated. From risk management to fraud detection, women bring unique perspectives that enhance decision-making and problem-solving.
Encouraging Women in Leadership

Creating an inclusive workplace goes beyond hiring—it means placing women in positions of influence. This is one aspect we’ve not neglected as an all-inclusive company. For us, it is not just an aspiration; it is our reality. Having a leadership team that embodies our commitment to gender balance is a source of pride, with talented, resilient, and visionary women holding key positions such as Chief Financial Officer, Head of Sales, and Deputy Head of Operations.
Women in leadership play a critical role in inspiring and mentoring the next generation of female professionals. These exceptional women are not in these roles because of a diversity quota—they are there because they are exceptional professionals who have earned their place. Their leadership is proof that when women are given opportunities, they excel.
By breaking barriers and holding decision-making positions, they set the stage for more women to rise in the fields of security, technology, and compliance. We know that representation matters, and we are committed to ensuring that women at Prembly don’t just have a seat at the table—they have a voice that is heard and valued.
We will continue to provide avenues for women within our organization to rise to leadership roles, ensuring that they have the support, mentorship, and resources needed to succeed.
What Security Means to the Women of Prembly
As part of our International Women’s Day celebration, we engaged in meaningful conversations with the women on our team. We asked them one simple but powerful question: What does security mean to you? Their responses were deeply inspiring:
“Security for women means feeling safe in public, private, and workplace spaces—where you are not experiencing sexual harassment or gender-based violence. It also means having a support system and resources to help in case of a crisis.”
Cynthia
“Security for women means having a safe space to grow—with finances, in business, and even at home. When things are safe and protected, women can invest, they can lead, and we can build a future without limits.”- Simbiat Odeniyi
“For me, I think I consider security for women as protection and assurance. I think that is a top priority when it comes to security.”– Kaira
“I think security for women is a sense of safety in all spaces—that is, workplaces, at home, institutions. And also protection from all abuses—physical abuses, societal discrimination, and financial insecurity“- Carol.
Our Commitment: More Than Just One Day
We are not just celebrating women today—we are committed to supporting them every day.
Beyond career opportunities and leadership inclusion, we actively care for the well-being of our women. Some of the ways we do this include:
- Comprehensive health insurance that ensures our women have access to quality healthcare.
- Monthly care boxes to support their menstrual health because small acts of consideration go a long way.
- Continuous engagement and support, ensuring that every woman in our organization feels heard, valued, and empowered.
This is just the beginning. We are accelerating action, not just for today but for the future.
Together, We Move Forward
The journey towards gender equality is ongoing, and we know there is still much to be done. But at Prembly, we are not waiting for change—we are making it happen.
To all the incredible women within our team and around the world: You are seen, you are celebrated, and a future where you can thrive without limits is one we are committed to building.
Happy International Women’s Day 2025!
